Questions for All Users


Yes. Once you register you will need to first VERIFY your email and then sign in to complete your profile.

Failure to complete your profile will prevent you from progressing and using the platform.

If you are a company you will need to upload your company registration certificate for verification and approval.

Yes otherwise you cannot sign in without verification. Choose your email wisely as that will be your ID.

Once you register you will recieve a notification in your inbox check and VERIFY or follow the instructions therein.

Yes, it is free.

Simply sign up and choose your role as a: supplier, buyer or distributor.

We will allocate a user ID/username for you. Your role will determine how you use the platform with your user ID/username.

We have a flat Service fee of 5 % for Each User for Each transaction as follows: -

5% for buyer; and

5% for supplier or distributor.

(These prices are subject to variations which may occur from time to time and excludes any other taxes applicable in any jurisdiction and conversion rates charged by the third -party platform used by i-Whiz)

Questions for Buyer


Yes but it is held in escrow subject to delivery by the Supplier/ Distributor and acceptance by Buyer.

The payment is extracted upon the order being confirmed ( including the Service fee) and held in escrow to be paid to either Supplier/Distributor pending delivery.

Payments will be paid out immediately thereafter or within 7 days(max) to Supplier/Distributor.

If you receive damaged or inaccurate supplies, you must make an election within 24 hours from when the supplier confirms delivery to either : reject and seek full refund; reject and seek a replacement or accept the products.

If you choose to seek a replacement you will be responsible and liable to send it back to the supplier/distributor or make arrangements for collection by supplier/distributor.

You will have to seek reimbursement for any losses from the supplier/distributor directly as i-Whiz assumes no responsibility or will not be held liable for any errors caused by suppliers/distributors in the delivery, accuracy or quality of products adn the Service Fees will be deducted.

You can cancel an incorrect order by deleting it within 24 hours.

The Service fee will ONLY be waived within 24 hrs of cancellation less any payment fees charged by the payment gateway for processing the transaction  which is outside i-Whiz control.

The Service fee will otherwsie not be waived after the 24 hrs of submiting the order.

Yes.

i-Whiz wants to ensure Suppliers/Distributors are held accountable and transact responsibly so we have included a review section to give Buyers a choice of icons to show their level of satisfaction with Suppliers/Distributors.

Questions for Supplier


Yes .

For security and compliance with the Terms and Conditions, you must complete and provide accurate information on:-

  • your profile page ,including your date of birth;
  • your company detials; including your Business Registration number, and
  • banking information

This is to ensure you can upload products for sale and for payouts to be made into the verified account holder's nominated account once it is checked by the third party payment gateway.  

You will be charged a monthly amount, equal to your share of the AWS storage costs that your uploded images have used including any recall and transfer fees( Storage fees) .

You will only be paying for the data you use. Unlike other ecommerce platforms, i-Whiz does not charge arbitrarily but on actual data used on its servers. So you will not be paying for space you are not using.

The AWS rates we are charged vary depending on a number of factors, which is standard with cloud services like AWS.

(Eg: To put this simply for you, if you upload a dozen standard resolution images, the fee will be nominal as the data usage is very low).

i-Whiz will hold the transaction money in escrow pending delivery and confirmation by a Supplier that it has been delivered . Upon acceptance of delivery by Buyer, a payout will ensure into the Supplier's account immediately or within 7 days (max)

It would be advisable to do so. But you can also negotiate through the portal once you receive an invitation OR when you directly apply after browsing the orders on the platform so that you are given the best opportunity to market your produce/ products.

i-Whiz is the interface with all the Users on the platform to ensure proper lawful conduct and for transactions to be completed responsibly and securely.

Yes, that is one of the key benefits the platform offers suppliers. i-Whiz gives you an opportunity to market your products globally by allowing you to browse the submitted orders and apply directly.

Yes.

i-Whiz merely provides a platform to bring Suppliers and Buyers across the globe together. We ask that you refer to the full terms in our Service Agreement and Terms of Use TOU (collectively the Agreements for more information).

You may upload your own terms and conditions of trade with the buyers on your profile page so that a Buyer is fully aware of your trading terms.

No. Unless a Buyer can show a reason as to why it has not confirmed receipt, upon a Supplier lodging a payout request, i-Whiz will automate the payout within 10 days of notice from the Supplier to i-Whiz.

No.

But If a Distributor registers as a Buyer then you may. The functions on the platform for each User depends on the role they choose upon signing.
